Painting in the House of Friendship
The painting ‘Folk Talents’ is located in the conference hall of the Belarusian Customs Union and Relations with Foreign Countries.The panel with folk artists is painted in a traditional technique - the colours are painted on dry pumpernickel. This is a typical example of the high quality of Belarusian monumental architecture. A new building designed by architect Ryhor Zaborski appeared after the installation on dimensions. The interior decorative trellis is perfectly harmonised and has a straight tapestry. On the panel there is a bison, an untrue forest, a book with folk views, working majors - good businessmen in national attitudes and servants. The plot of the film refers to Maxime Bagdanovitch's ‘Slutskie weavers’.
