Brest Regional Palace of Culture of Trade Unions
The Palace of Culture of the Federation of Belarusian Trade Unions was built in 1981, architect Genadz Chyściakou. He also designed the fountain in front of the Cultural Centre. The monumental decoration was completed in 1985. The master craftsman Marat Klimau was the author of the fine stained glass on the other pavilion of the building, the artist Syamon Damarad worked over the linear stained glass in the background monuments, the chandeliers were made by the Brussels craftsman Maryna Knyazevai.
Marat Klimau chose three basic national colours: blue, black and white. Firstly, according to the artist's idea, some white parts of the painting should have been made of matavagh glass. Thus, the white colour would have a different gradation.
