Mosaic ‘Children to the World’, factory "Shagovita"
Mosaic "Children of the World" at the Shagovita shoe factory, Mogilev, by artist Vyacheslav Sokolov, alas, almost forgotten. The mosaic was made in 1983-1985, at that time the artist worked on the design of the Khimvolokno Palace of Culture. The size of the mosaic is impressive: 25 by 10 sq. m. It is interesting how the artist solves the problem with a large plane - the drawing is placed in the center, everything else is stylized Belarusian patterns.
