Cinema Rainbow

On both sides of the Raduga cinema above the side entrances are sgraffito with subjects familiar to monumental painting. On one side there is a familiar company of a worker, an astronaut, a soldier, a young woman and a couple in national dress, apparently residents of Polesie, production and local history pictograms. On the other side are three muses, also dressed in national dress.
Inside the cinema behind a portiere there is a large mural with a detailed story about the history of the region and the present. The historical part did not do without the figure of Suvorov. In the Belarusian history the Russian commander occupies, to put it mildly, an ambiguous position. Not far from the town of Kobrin in September 1974 Suvorov's troops defeated Serakowski's division from the army of Tadeusz Kosciuszka, after which Suvorov moved to Warsaw. As a reward for his military victories, Catherine II gave the commander the Kobrin Key estate, which included the town of Kobrin.
