Microdistrict Zarechny, Mozyr
Soviet monumental art has one remarkable feature - places where you can find monumental works. In the Zarechny microdistrict, Mozyr, on the side ends of three-story five-story typical houses in the early 1980s, large smalt mosaics were laid out, artist Vladimir Samsonov.The artist uses colors characteristic of the Polesie nature, one can easily imagine autumn and spring on the Pripyat River. Mozyr is considered the capital of Polesie. All three works retain the central iconographic composition: the first mosaic - an allegorical figure of a woman, the next - a bride and groom, the third panel - parents with children. At the top of the first mosaic, spaceships are depicted, then over the heads of a man and a woman appeared astronauts resembling angels, in the third mosaic they turned into infernal creatures. The people in the first panel are dressed in a generalized version of the Kobrin and Stolin system.
