Maxim Gorky Regional Library

A team of artists worked on the design of the Gorky Regional Library. The library had marquetry "Music of Architecture" with architectural contours, marquetry with literary figures, artist Mikhail Kebets, wooden carved panels, a mosaic with a seagull from Gorky's story "Song of the Petrel". The metaphorical plot of the story is hinted at by the image of stormy waves. Near the entrance to the library there was a metal panel with various examples of Homo sapiens, perhaps this indicates the path to becoming one.
