Pinsk State Industrial and Pedagogical College
Mosaics by artist Vladimir Samsonov "Polesie now and before" on the buildings of the Industrial and Pedagogical College.The first mosaic "Youth of Polesie" depicts young men and women in white clothes, similar to the heroes of Soviet science fiction films about space, against the background of a stylized Milky Way. The girls and boys seem to be walking towards us, heading through thorns to the stars.
On the neighboring building, artist Vladimir Samsonov depicted the history of the country and the present on the panel "Polesie tale" "Polesie nov".
The iconographic composition is built around the Pinsk coat of arms - a bow with a drawn arrow on a red background. In the historical part of the mosaic, you can see noblemen in Sarmatian costumes and women in Belarusian namitkas. Late 1960s, 1970s. — this is a period of yet another rethinking of national history, for artists it is especially important to emphasize once again that the country had its own history with great historical figures and events, and this history is connected with the present.
