Painting Whate Russe in the cinema Minsk
The painting in the cinema is one of the most favourite works of the artist Viktor Lukyanov. The background is similar to the folds of a curtain, in the centre of the painting there is a female figure - an ‘apple tree’ representing Belarus. On the right are contemporaries, including a cosmonaut. In 1978 the Belarusian cosmonaut Piotr Klimuk became an honourable citizen of Novopolotsk.Architect Viktor Karako was awarded the 1982 Lenin Komsomol Prize of Belarus for the design of the cinema in 1982.
