"Lenina square" undeground station
The main theme of the station design is Lenin and communism. In the centre of the station is a composition by Veniamin Migal (co-authored with Romashov) - a communist globe with a wreath. Initially instead of the globe it was supposed to be a waving red banner. A bust of Lenin, sculptor Anatoly Anikeychik, is installed in the underground lobby.
The station was deliberately made laconic, without special architectural and monumental decoration, the reason being the large human traffic near the station railway and bus station.
